We just got the house appraised as one of the last We just got the house appraised as one of the last steps before selling (and it came back at asking! 🙌🏻) but the appraiser was obsessed with our house. Like I don’t know if they’re meant to be neutral but he was literally taking notes for his own house and said he could tell we put so much into our renovations and then he specifically mentioned all these little things in this reel as stuff he loved. We’ve had so many contractors and inspectors and handymen and just general visitors over the last couple of years and these tiny updates are ALWAYS the things they mention which I obviously thrive on, but I also find it so funny that we’ve renovated whole kitchens and bathrooms and the $20 faux frame TV is the big takeaway?! 😂 Anyway, maybe a lesson that the tiny upgrades like this are the ones that make the biggest difference! #diyer #budgethome #budgetfriendlydiy #weekendproject #diyhomeprojects #frametvhack #gallerywallinspo

We spent nine days feeding the coos, hiking, eatin We spent nine days feeding the coos, hiking, eating fish & chips and — of course — searching for Nessie in the Scottish highlands and it was honestly the perfect lowkey road trip to do with little kids. Also we had the bonus of being able to list our house and get outta there for the dozens of showings we had while we were gone! Have you ever been to Scotland?
