I don’t think anyone talks enough about the deep I don’t think anyone talks enough about the deeply unglamorous middle part of a renovation, but here’s a little glimpse of how it looks. We’re in that phase where it’s not impressive yet, nothing is finished, everything is dusty, and I’m still trying to answer emails and cook dinner and move my body between building cabinets because I’m old enough to worry about bone density now 😅 We’re hoping to build most of the cabinets this weekend though and that feels like a big milestone!
If you also have a kid who’d run through a wall If you also have a kid who’d run through a wall to watch the mindless rainbow ducks videos on YouTube that pop up on the TV home screen , then this is for you. I mostly added shows I watched as a kid and some newer educational kind of ones and they actually really like it, plus they feel fancy choosing from a menu. Who knows how long this will be fun for them but for now it’s a parenting hack.
