Outdoors-Themed Nursery Gallery Wall
Making a gallery wall is probably one of my favorite things, especially when you’re going for the organic mismatched kind of vibe where you can just have fun and don’t need to perfectly measure or line up your nail holes. When I was designing the nursery for Baby #2, I wanted this outdoors-themed nursery gallery wall to feel cohesive but not too matchy-matchy, so I picked a few primary colors then tried to alternate images and artwork, those with words and those without, sizes and frame colors to create that feel.
The vintage postcards are thrifted from a local antique store so they only cost me 50 cents each and about 30 minutes of my time sifting through stacks of hundreds of mostly ugly old postcards, but the rest are Etsy printables.
If you’ve been around a while you’ll be familiar with my love of Etsy as a source for affordable artwork. Usually I’ll buy a print with a digital download, then have it printed at Walgreens or an online print store like Mpix or Shutterfly to frame. So simple and so affordable!
I’m so happy with how this outdoors-themed nursery gallery wall turned out and I deliberately left it open enough I could add to it in the future if I come across any other pieces I love. I had so much fun planning out and decorating the nursery.
